What is the Simulation Hypothesis
The simulation hypothesis proposes that our physical reality is not a base-level universe, but an artificial computer simulation. Popularized by philosopher Nick Bostrom in 2003, the idea suggests that if advanced civilizations can create conscious simulations, they would likely run billions of them making it statistically probable that we are simulated beings.
Our Mission
We are here to provide resources and theories to support The Simulation Hypothesis, to educate the public, and to provide a discourse free from stigma.
Who We Are
SSRCL’s mission is to become a collective resource for information pertaining to the simulation theory. To advance conversation within the realm of possibility that we are in fact living in a simulation and the chances that our current civilization could adopt a simulation to offset physical resources.
Theories
The Simulation Hypothesis has 3 main theories with subsequent supporting ideology:
– Ancestor simulator
– Fantasy simulator
– Preservation Simulator
